In our darkness Americans hear a voice aspiring for more
Darkness has fallen, and the night is cold. Surrounding us is a cavern whose distant walls echo our tumbling thoughts and collective fears.
After hours of wandering, a pinhole light appears. A voice tell us that hope remains — if we choose to walk towards the radiance.
The evangelical church lost my allegiance years ago, but I never gave up the essential faith. I can still recognize the voice of God.
We face a crucible moment
A hundred million Americans wander in this cave, undecided.
The rest are sure of their places. In the light, in the dark, in a home of their own making or in a silo manufactured by others.
The seekers fear that they wander in a place that has become indecent. That the progressive surge — no matter how well intended — swept too far, ignoring too many. That the conservative lunge has in a matter of weeks leapt beyond the scope of American decency.
